At Tryane nothing is more important than ensuring security and compliance when it comes to the processing of our customers’ data. With this being at the core of our service, it’s not a surprise that we were ready to make such a big investment in order to obtain a certification guaranteeing that all our processes and policies are fully compliant.
We are delighted to announce that as of the 6th of august, 2020, Tryane has officially obtained its System and Organization Controls (SOC 2 type I) certification, one of the most coveted ones for SaaS providers.
Why is this important?
Information security is a reason for concern for all organizations, including those that outsource key business operation to third-party vendors, such as SaaS solutions or cloud-computing providers.
Developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), SOC 2 defines criteria for managing customer data, based on five “trust service principles”:
– Security
– Availability
– Processing integrity
– Confidentiality
– Privacy
SOC 2 certification is issued by outside auditors. They assess the extent to which Tryane complies with all of the five trust principles based on the systems and processes in place.
This certification is one of the most requested ones by IT security teams across large corporations, as it reviews and audits all of our internal processes and ensures that strict policies are in place, by performing technical tests that validate our security levels.
Obtaining this certification proves that our system, processes and solutions are designed to keep our clients’ sensitive data secure. Not that they weren’t before, but it’s just now officially certified.
